Vang Vieng

After a very hot and sweaty bus trip Chris, Lisa and I arrived in Vang Vieng. This is in the Northen area of Laos. Most people consider this place to be a little less than charming but I really liked the one street little town. Most of the bars and restaurants are notorious for constantly playing the complete series of Friends but if you can avoid them than things are really lovely. It had a good vibe and mostly a town of "Tube" seeking backpacker the atmosphere was all fun and laughs.
Plus they had great banana pancake stalls too!! Yummo!
